Registered BAS agent

Auburn Bookkeeping is a registered BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). This is a regulated accreditation requiring minimum levels of experience and education. The TPB holds its agents to high standards to ensure the public confidence and expectations.

BAS agent requirements

  • Certificate iv in Financial Services – Bookkeeping or Accounting;
  • Over 1000 hours relevant experience;
  • Professional Indemnity insurance;
  • Ongoing Professional Development.

The Client’s Bookkeeping Manual All the “client-specific” processes will have been documented in your very own Client’s Bookkeeping Manual. This is a document which is created when we first start working together and which is kept constantly updated as changes occur in your business. You own this document and it is another key in ensuring we can replace bookkeepers in your business if necessary.
